Ignition Coil Replacement
Subject: Outstanding Service
Gentlemen,
I had the extreme pleasure of using Lube Mobile for the first time this week.
My car, a X-Type Jaguar, recently started to misfire on the odd occasion under load.?I booked it into
********Auto as they recently serviced the vehicle.?I chose them as the?manager actually came into
my business one day and I just happened to need a new ?water pump. Their service was very good.
They diagnosed the problem as a faulty coil. The replacement coil they?fitted was also faulty (apparently)
so was the whole batch. That was over?three weeks ago and I’m still waiting for a call to say the new coil has
arrived and my car is ready for repair.
In desperation, with my car now not diveable as the ignition coil finally completely?failed, I ordered a new
coil from Roadbend and booked Lube Mobile online.?That day, Karl, one of your technicians arrived and
diagnosed the car. His?advice was to replace all coils and plugs. He sourced the parts at a great
price and suggested top quality plugs. He seemed to really know his trade?and was an extremely?nice Irish guy.
The next day he completed the repair and my car has never run better. I love?my Jag and have had it from
brand new. Previously a trip to a mechanic was?expensive. On one occasion a problem was misdiagnosed
costing $1200. ?It’s the first time my car has ever been off the road with a problem.
I just wanted to let you know that thanks to Karl you have won a customer?for life. I have total trust in his
integrity, ability and professionalism. ?As his employers, you should be very proud to have such a fine ambassador
for your brand.
I am now also an ambassador for your brand will tell everyone I know to use?your company, including
social media. As an employer myself, I love customer?feedback, thus the reason for this?email.
I wish you continued success and well done on recruiting such a great?employee. I also add in conversation,
he had high praise for your company as an employer.
Many thanks and kind regards,
Stuart Endersby
Why You Should Never Skip A Car Service
If you’re like most of us, you’ve skipped a car service or two in your time. If you thought it was just your dirty little secret, think again. You can hide your service from the world, but not from your mechanic and certainly not from your car or its log book.
Don’t get us wrong, skipping a car service isn’t the worst thing you could do, but while you may escape the initial price for it, your car or its warranty does not – to the tune of its own health and your financial long term health.
So before you’re tempted to skip another one, read up on why you should stick to your regular car service schedule.
Because it’s necessary
Your car’s vital lubricants, fluids and electronic and mechanical functions need to be changed, adjusted or checked at regular intervals to ensure the appropriate safety and reliable performance of components in your vehicle. Over time, things also will need to be refilled or even replaced in order to keep you and your car safe on the road.
In general, cars should be serviced every 12 months or every 15,000 kms (whichever comes first), however if you’ve missed one or even a couple, ask your mechanic if a 3 year service or one of our tailored solutions will help you catch up. Your car may even be at 6 months or 10000kms so its worth checking your log book service history to keep an eye on it.
Because it’ll help you prevent more serious damage
You may not hear every little thing that could be possible be wrong with your car, but a car service can help pick them up. Regular services can pre-warn you about major problems that could occur, enabling you to catch things early on before they become more serious (and more costly) issues.
After your service, your mechanic will provide you with a report outlining any emergency repairs that require urgent attention in order to avoid a potential hazard or breakdown.
Even more worryingly, some problems will not surface until it is too late. Modern cars can function much longer than older equivalents due to computers compensating wearing service items ? however it is a misleading confidence that all is ok. For example if your engine oil goes too long without change it can clog up and destroy internal reciprocating parts, which can lead to engine replacement? – these run into several thousands of dollars to repair.
Because it’ll prolong your car’s life
Car services can bring many things to your attention but perhaps most importantly, they alert you to any mechanical failures that could not only have dangerous consequences, but could also reduce your car?s longevity. At the end of the day, a car that’s regularly serviced and tuned has an extended expected life-span over one that’s starved of attention. As a bonus, if you ever try to sell the car it’ll be worth more if it has a good service history. ?It may feel like you?re spending more by servicing your car correctly, but the truth is, it costs much more not to service it over time.
Simply a better way
At Lube Mobile, we?re so passionate about the importance of regular car services that we?ve based our entire business on making it easy for you to get them done. That?s why we work around your schedule and come to a location of your choice, so you never have to miss a service again!

Outstanding Car Repair Review
Hello All,
Yes we do have a customer mechanic review section elsewhere on the site, but this one was so detailed and elaborate it was too big to fit ! So we just had to share this one on our blog. It is a customers honest review of their car repair experience with Lube Mobile in Perth. This demonstrates how easy and quick Lube Mobile is to book, use and work with whilst providing great value for money car repair and car service. Enjoy ….
“Guys 10/10! after 3 weeks of being completely stuffed around by a major (removed) dealer in Perth, a specialised (removed) repairer and another mechanic in Wangara, all I wanted was the van fixed! I couldn’t get a quote it was always to hard no calls back and had to chase them up! I couldn’t figure it out! I had money to swap for a service but you would think I had rotten apples in my wallet.
I tried and tried but still couldn’t get quotes, the final straw was a specialised (removed) dealer coming out wasting time “I need this and I need that I’ll get back to you at some point”.. That was it! I was frustrated! I googled “mechanics perth” and I will say it was with hesitation I called Lube Mobile as I didnt think an (removed) van would be in their scope of works but I made the call at 4pm yesterday and to be honest I didnt think it was something that LM would help me out with .. well flash forward 24 hours and its fixed and back on the road!.
It takes alot to impress me when it comes to customer service these days but guys this service was honestly second to none! From the initial phone call to your call centre, the young lady was very helpful and super friendly and organised a free onsite quote for 8am the next morning. Lee arrived and I had a quote by 8:30. I went ahead and he had parts in and repaired by 4pm , and this wasnt a minor repair either ! Lee from Van 29 deserves commendation on his service, overall a great experience and I would highly recommend LM to anyone that needs a mechanic , LM will be the first number we call when we need to service our fleet of vehicles.. Great work guys , you have proven that not everything is hard and there are still some businesses out there willing to go the extra mile for their customers like we do! great work .. Richard”

Radiator Repair Testimonial
We couldn’t resist sharing this public testimonial on a radiator and cooling system repair from one of our happy Gold Coast customers. It can be found here;
Thank You David and glad we could help. Happy Motoring….
TESTIMONIAL-LUBEMOBILE
When we breakdown and our vehicles needs full scale repairs; my experience of late.
I am the first to confess this article has little if anything to do with video cameras or filmmaking. What it does have though, is reference to something us in this industry all have ? some form of personal/business transport or another. And this transport is vital to do what we do; getting to and from gigs primarily.
I also like to give credit where credit is due, and in this case, this is firmly the situation.
Let me explain.
A few months ago, my car started for the first time in its life to use water. Not a lot initially, just a cup full every few weeks but it gradually got worse and worse to the point a 30Km journey would use 3-4 litres. The weird thing was thought, that the car was not overheating, and there was no evident sign of a leak anywhere.
2 years ago, the cooling system had been overhauled, and my memory told me that all hoses had been replaced as well as belts and pulleys, plus the radiator itself, so this had me stumped. My initial suspect was a cracked expansion tank, but no pools of water on the ground seemed to dismiss that idea.
Eventually, 2 weeks ago when at the local shopping centre, after coming out of the supermarket, a fellow shopper stopped me and said my car had a large pool of water underneath it. Initially I thought as it was a stinkingly humid day this was just from the airconditioning, but on the way home, a short 500 metres away, the temperature gauge rose alarmingly.
Time to park the car and get some third party assistance. I weighed up getting it towed using my RAC benefits, but in the end decided to use one of the many mobile mechanics? services. Being Easter Saturday, this meant waiting until the following Tuesday, and the only ones available were Lubemobile. A callout fee of $114 or so was mooted for an initial 15 minute diagnosis which seemed reasonable against losing my towing ration.
Sure enough, bang on time, the mechanic ? Jed ? showed up and within minutes had determined a crack in the radiator. Thinking this was under warranty from the previous repairer, Ithanked Jed, paid the bill, and thought that phase at least was over.
However, despite searching high and low, and finding receipts for everything BUT the radiator, I contacted the dealer directly and he ascertained he had not replaced the radiator at that previous service.
Back to square one.
I contacted Lubemobile again online and got a quote that came in at $457. As there wasn?t much choice, I rang Jed direct as I had his mobile number, and asked him to organise the repair for the following day. Unfortunately, the necessary parts were not available locally, and so after Jed had a second look at my car to make sure his original diagnosis was correct, we arranged for the next day.
In that second diagnosis, Jed also discovered the main drive belt was hundreds of kilometres within snapping, and that something called a heater tap was also damaged and leaking. All parts were subsequently ordered, and at 8am sharp, as promised, Jed was on the doorstep next day ready to go.
And this is where the reason for this piece really starts. Never in my life, and I have been around cars and motor sport for longer than I care to remember, have I seen someone doing repairs with such diligence. Everything was checked and double checked and then checked again to make sure. Removed parts were carefully laid out in order, bolts and screws etc placed into a special container so they were not lost, and even things not related to the original repair checked in case there were other faults.
For example, Jed noticed a plug lead had been damaged, and so during the course of the repair, this was also rectified. Some missing plastic plugs holding the radiator cover in place were sourced from a tin full of bits ?n? pieces in Jed?s van and even a stray cable that had done a runner from its holding clip was carefully returned to its rightful place.
When the radiator had been replaced, and the hoses put back on ? after checking all the hose clips were still fully operational, the cooling system was pressure checked and all joints and connected and again double checked for any possible leakage.
Only then were all the ancillary panels and things put back in place.
But the job didn?t stop there. The engine bay and all covers etc were then wiped down and cleaned and sprayed with some sort of fluid to bring them back to shining life. The car was left running for 15 minutes to bring it up to temperature so the thermostat would open letting the coolant levels be checked again.
During this time, all of the tools Jed has used were wiped down and checked for any damage and then carefully put back into their own special location in the myriads of drawers in the back of the Lubemobile van.
Now up until this point, I assumed that Lubemobile was a franchise operation, and therefore this was a man proud of his business and its relationship with clients, something often sadly lacking in this day and age. But no, I discovered Jed was an employee of the Lubemobile company which has over 200 mobile vans on the road in Australia I understand, and so this attitude, attention to details and the strive to do the best job possible to me, was highly reflective of the training Lubemobile obviously give and of Jed?s own pride in his work.
The long and short of it is that no matter you have a basic car, a van for carrying video gear to and from gigs, or a full on outside broadcast van I have no hesitation in recommending the services of Lubemobile to anyone in this industry, and if on the Gold Coast, particularly Jed.
Simply spectacular service.
By the way, this is NOT a paid, sponsored or otherwise story, simply my own personal take on the company?s service from my experience.

Keeping Your New Car Warranty Intact
A new car warranty can provide you with all the support you need in case something unexpected goes wrong with your new car, however you will only be covered if you haven?t in some way contributed to the problem yourself, in which case your warranty will be considered void. The following is a look at some of the things you need to do to ensure your new car warranty remains intact, and that it is there to protect you should you ever need it.
Use Quality Parts and Oils
If you need to have any repairs done on your new car, in order to maintain your warranty it is usually required that you use only qulaity, because otherwise all bets are off as far as the dealership and your warranty is concerned. This is because your car was built to work with certain types of parts, and by using anything else can increase the chances of something going wrong. For the sake of your car and your warranty, only use quality parts designed to suit your vehicle – Lube Mobile only use quality parts.
A Short History of the Great Australian Road Trip
Ever since the first Holden rolled off the production line, Australians have been loading up and heading off on the Great Australian Road Trip. It?s a wide brown land out there and we Aussies seem intent on exploring every inch of it, even if it?s only one holiday at a time.
Early road trips
When the first road trips took place, there weren?t even any roads and those expeditions usually involved huge caravans of camels and horses and months of weary trudging towards endless horizons.
Burke and Wills took a road trip that ended badly. Typical males, they wouldn?t ask for directions from the locals and ended up dying under a tree.
After them came a wide range of explorers, who mapped the terrain and slowly roads, rail lines and telephone poles began to spring up across the landscape.
